Indiana Local Food
Indiana is one of the most agriculturally productive states in the country, and we top the charts in crops and animals produced for global markets. We also grow a lot of food, but often that food is not directed or available for wholesale buyers right here in our communities. FARMWISE Indiana exists to reconnect supply to demand and to create a stronger food economy for Indiana.
In 2025, Hoosiers spent $27.5 billion buying food.
FARMWISE Indiana is working to capture that purchasing power and redirect to our local food farmers who are ready and able to sell to wholesale buyers. We focus on institutional wholesale buyers located in any community in Indiana.
Strengthening Indiana’s Food Economy
We support key stakeholders within the food value chain by building relationships, reliability, accountability, trust, and servant leadership within Indiana’s local food economy.
