FARMWISE Event: Melon Tasting and Field Day with Southwest Purdue Agricultural Program

FARMWISE Indiana and the Southwest Purdue Agricultural Program are hosting a Field Day and Melon Tasting Event on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

This event is geared towards growers and buyers of melon who would like the opportunity to learn more about hearty and disease resistant varieties that have been tested by Purdue researchers and will be available to grow and buy in the 2027 season.

A visit to the fields will also include lunch and further education about food safety and updates from Scott Monroe.
